acupnctures effects if any are temporary
I had a couple of years of it for chronic fatigue, it made it worse
one day in desperation the acupuncturist decided he would "open up all my energy pathways with an ancient form of acupuncture"
he put one needle in my little toe and another in my hand.
it left me bedridden with extreme fatigue for two weeks.
had similar experienes with homeopathy.

he thought NZ health practitioners didnt charge enough, and NZers complained too much about paying
he had it down to a fine art
biggest naturopathic clinic in NZ
funy enough just like you mention, you would be either getting acupuncture or his "sound and light machines with neurolinguistic programming tapes which subliminal messages layered over each other to get your mind working for you to heal your body etc.
he had several rooms he had people sitting in.
when i started going to him i'd been taking supplements, he told me supplements will only take you so far , you need herbs.
a year later he'd done a course in supplements and told me herbs would only take me so far, i needed supplements,
that was the last time i went to him funnily enough,
