Vegetables boost DNA repair - Anti Ageing
A chemical in vegetables such as broccoli, cauliflower and cabbage can boost DNA repair in cells and may stop them becoming cancerous, a study says. Another chemical in soy also performs the same role, the Georgetown University team said. Although a link has already been found between eating these foods and a reduced cancer risk, this research shows how that might happen.
eating a balanced diet, which was high in fibre plus plenty of fruit and vegetables, lowered the risks of developing many forms of cancer.

This idea of DNA repair is a relatively new one. When I did my studies in the 1970's we were taught that DNA damage caused by chemicals, radiation and so on was irrversible.
What I have since discovered is that the most obvious signs of ageing, such as loss of skin tone (wrinkling) and skin kerastosis, can be reversed just by attention to diet. This includes increasing the intake of plant antioxidants by using special plant extracts such as Nutra-Life Load-up and LifeStream Astazan - plus other nutrients such as flax oil, vitamin D and Tissue salts (All available off this website store).
The other set of nutrients that can have a marked effect on ageing skin is the B group of vitamins. Piridoxine is used by skin specialists as a topical treatment of skin kerastosis (Now - will they ever tell you this?). You can do the same from the inside out by taking a low cost B complex vitamin supplement. The one I recommend is the new Nutra Life Ener B.
The only downside of these anti-ageing measures is they take several months before any benefits are obvious. I recommend that you take before photos so you can compare problem areas later on.
