Is this aluminium-based deodorant safe?

have you heard of Potassium alum- it is in Al Free deodorant I recently bought- on googling the ingredients, I’m no longer sure it is safe? just wondered if you have come across that ingredient?

I wouldn't use it personally.  We don't really know what happens to these supposedly benign aluminium compounds when added to the moist, acid environment of the armpits.  The armpit is uncomfortably close to the lymph glands that cleanses the breast tissue.  

Aluminium is classed as a toxic element when in the body.  We don't know how much is absorbed through the skin from makeup; but I have noticed that women who habitually wear a lot of makeup seem to be overly represented in my Hair Tissue Mineral Analyses when it comes to aluminium levels.

Aluminium is associated with inflammation, Alzheimer's and some cancers.  It interferes with iron and vitamin C within the body. 

Better to be 100% safe.  Your good health is everything.  So, I say this:

If in doubt - Leave it out!
