I have been approached by a USA company to supply Myotec Pocket Gyms. This is a wonderful opportunity with potential sales of from 10,000 to 35,000 units per year after Year One. This amounts to potential gross sales of about US$42 million per year!
While the numbers continue to stack up under ongoing scrutiny, the sheer scale is daunting for NZ companies that are better geared for a market of just 4 million rather than one with a population of almost 300 million.
My proposed solution is to collaborate with several NZ companies who will be responsible for the funding and the production of various components, such as the door strap.
Even with such a strategy to spread the financial and production loads, a significant investment is still required to improve its presentation and to get the Myotec Pocket Gym to the point of being produced by production line methods.
I am seeking expressions of interest from investors who are able to invest up to NZ$150,000 in this project in return for a shareholding in the company.
