21 August 2013
Good evening.
I have now collated the data from the survey regarding the NZ Powerlifting Federation Training Camp.
Firstly thank you for contributing to the success of the camp. We received good positive feedback about your presentation.
Please see below a collective statement derived from the comments of the survey:
Gary Moller was an interesting speaker, who was good to listen to. It was good to be told about how to get to know your body, how it works and adapts. You can never know enough about nutrition and the one thing is that some athletes never take seriously enough. Athletes need to be more informed if they want to be top level athletes. |
Once again, thank you.
Regards,
Marie Soffe

Adrenals, Thyroid and Important Nutritional Endocrine Relationships
ADVANCED HAIR TISSUE MINERAL ANALYSIS SEMINAR AND WORKSHOP
Gary Moller Dip PhEd, PGDipSportMed (Otago) Sports Health Practitioner and Nutritional Specialist | Zac Bobrov Technical Director of InterClinical Laboratories |
The seminar is a full-day programme:
SUN: 8.30am (registration) to 5.15pm
SUN: 8.30am (registration) to 5.15pm
The seminar, in detail:
All physiological activity affects the endocrine system and thus has an impact no nutritional requirements. Having tested hundreds of thousands of patient’s hair samples for Hair Tissue Mineral Analysis (HTMA), we have found that a large number of reports show a picture of weakened adrenals and an underactive thyroid; resulting in a ‘tired/burnt-out’ patient or athlete.
HTMA has proven itself to be a reliable and effective tool for clinicians when assessing their patient’s health concerns. A key area that HTMA addresses is the neuro-endocrine system. By thoroughly assessing your patient with HTMA, the report will help indicate critical imbalances in their mineral levels. Hence, with HTMA, the practitioner is shown an insight into an under-functioning (or over-stimulated) adrenal and/or thyroid gland.
By attending this seminar, you will gain further knowledge and skills to better equip your clinical practice; with a tool that helps to answer many of the questions as to why your patient is unwell. By incorporating a workshop format in this year’s seminar series, we hope to provide a more practical and hands-on learning experience that will build your confidence with nutrient prescribing.
