At last - Some sensible advice about sunscreen use, sun exposure and vitamin D!

"The negative publicity over excessive sun exposure over the past few years has resulted in such an efficient block out of the sun that we now have a vitamin D deficiency pandemic.

Worldwide, it is estimated to be around 50 per cent of the population.

Gary comments:
This advice is years overdue but still not really adequate; but much better than previous advice from the likes of the Cancer Society.

I wonder how many tens of thousands of lives have been ruined and ended prematurely by the official advice of past years that was so far out of line of what was known about the important health benefits of sunlight and vitamin D?

For more about vitamin D and sunlight, here are some of the eighty-plus articles I have written about this over the last five or so years.
