An update on using flax oil to reduce solar skin keratoses

Here is the latest update on my efforts to reduce some of the damage that has been done to my skin in my early years of being fried to a crisp in the sun. I have had to resort in recent years to having patches of raw scale burned off by the skin specialist. This has not been ideal because the end result has been scarring of the skin in places. It has been quite a worry at times wondering where this is all going.

Earlier this year I began using flax oil as the base lubricant of my massage oil which I use daily when working with clients. To my delight, I noticed that the skin on the back of my hands was getting better - not worse as one would expect.

I am delighted with the results. I was due to go to the skin specialist earlier this year. There is now absolutely no need at all.

Have a look at the video and compare with the earlier one. I know it is hard to see what I am talking about in the video - but isn't that great news!

seawater is very good for the skin
fighter pilots with burn injuries during world war 2 had a far better recovery if they went down in the sea.
