Is there a common link between acidity, cancer, yeast, fungus and viruses?

"My skin doctor reckons the fungus/skin cancers idea is rubbish?  Those things on your skin maybe a fungus?"

Hmmm..  If that's the case, then I should change my own skin specialist who has been burning precancerous solar kerastoses off my hands, ears and forehead over the last decade!

But, maybe there is a link between cancer and fungus, just as there is known link between cancer and viruses, like the warts virus.  Some doctors are convinced that cancers are caused by viruses and there are some who believe that cancers are a reaction to fungal infections, like candida.  I think there is something in this.  Let me explain...

We know that alkaline metals, like zinc and selenium help prevent cancers of the skin and prostate; but exactly how?

Here's some interesting facts:

  • Cancers thrive in acidic environments.
  • Fungi and viruses also thrive in acidic environments.
  • A healthy person has a body PH of about 7.2 (slightly alkaline).
  • As we age, suffer stress, illness and injury, our ability to maintain an alkaline PH declines and we tend towards being acidic.
  • Toxins like arsenic, mercury, aluminium and lead interfere with the alkali elements like magnesium, zinc and selenium.  Most people have these in their bodies nowadays from environmental pollution and sometime medicines.
  • Skin cancer and prostate cancer are very common in people who have been exposed to arsenic and lead and other toxins - people such as builders, farmers and mechanics - and people who use firearms.
  • High lead levels in an engineer who happens to have
    a problem with solar kerastoses.
  • When I do a Hair Tissue Analysis on a person with ailments like warts, acne, psoriasis, candida, athlete's foot, sinusitis and cancers such as prostate, there is often present toxic metals and a profile indicating a problem with zinc in particular and often the presence of toxins like lead.

Similar profiles: Different diseases!

  • When we correct the alkali element imbalances/deficiencies and get rid of the toxic elements, the disease gradually clears over several months.

Fascinating stuff eh?

Now here's the interesting question when it comes to cancer.  If cancer is the body's response to fungus and viral infections that have overwhelmed the body, as some experts claim, then can we prevent and even cure cancer by increasing the body's PH to be in the alkaline range of about PH 7.4?

Below are several videos about the link between cancer and fungal infections.  They are two sets of a series of videos.  While there is some doubling up, please take time to watch them all.  I would welcome your comments which you can post at the bottom of this article.  The oncologist, Dr Simoncini, who appears in the videos is - needless to say - highly controversial within his peer circle.  But that is hardly a surprise.  Many of the inquisitive outliers of history who drove Human progress were persecuted by their peers only to later being proven to be right.  Without such outliers, medicine would still be blood-letting.

As a matter of interest; I started applying Simoncini's ideas to my own skin which has been increasingly plagued by solar keratoses, mostly on my hands, arms, forehead and ears.  These were requiring visits to the skin specialist every two years to have the worst of them removed.  Well, four years have now passed, I have not been back to the specialist and most of the skin lesions are gone.

And here is an interesting website on the subject: http://www.curenaturalicancro.com/  I am of an open mind on this matter for now.  Let's see what eventuates and I would appreciate your opinions and feedback.

Skin Keratosis treatment

I saw your keratosis treatment videos on the web and was impressed. I have 2 quick questions for you.

1. Did your regime of flax oil also get rid of the plain old normal age spots on your hands and face?
2. What makes the NZ flax oil so much better than the flax oils that I can find in a health food store?
3. What time frame did it take to clear up your keratosis?

Gary responds:
Andrew, the skin cancers on my ears, hands and face have now all dropped off. I have yet to do an updated video which will show it.  I was going to the skin specialist about every 2nd year to have them burned off and they were getting worse each year which was a huge worry.

Since producing the first video, I have done several other measures which are all contributing to a dramatic improvement in my skin health.

I have been taking daily Agewise Conezyme Q-10 and a powerfull antioxidant called Lifestream Astazan along with the flax oil.

In addition, I have switched from a low fat diet to one that includes fresh natural fats including raw milk which comes direct from an organically reared cow which we have shares in.  This has been an important change in diet.

I have also been taking Active Elements Tissue salts and increased my intake of pyridoxine by way of a natural vitamin B supplement (Nutra-Life Ener B).  Pyridoxine is used as a topical treatment for skin kerastosis.  Treating from the inside to the outside is my choice.

While I used to dab the flax seed onto the affected parts, I no longer do this since there are no areas needing treatment, other than one very small patch on my right hand.

Low fat diet = Bad skin

About Waihi Bush Flax Oil
The NZ flax oil is grown and processed in South Canterbury of the South Island.  It is organic and fresh, delviered direct to my office.  The oil is specially sealed in black plastic bottles and all air is displaced by nitrogen.  The actual life of the oil is at least a year longer than the expiry date so long as the bottle remains sealed and in a cool place.

Flax oil is a lovely oil that does not need to be taken in capsules.  The best value is the 500ml bottles which gnerally can be found for about $30 (less from me).

NB: Still consult a skin cancer specialist if you have suspiscious bits and pieces of skin.  If they turn out to be at the low end of risk, then try this regime for about a year and see what happens.  You can still do this regime even if other treament is necessary.

If in doubt - Cut it out!

Gary comments
The following is very important for keeping your skin healthy and please forward this article to all of your friends who are on statins and low fat diets.

Its now about 1.5 years since I first noticed an improvement in my skin and over three years since I have been to my dermatologist to get my persistent pre-cancerous skin spots removed (Keratoses - not moles). They have all as good as disappeared without requiring any medical treatment usually consisting of burning them off with dry ice which has caused some scarring over the years. In fact, I have been getting more sun over the last year and my skin is the best it has been for years. How could this be?

About 10 years ago I went onto the low fat diet as most people do in order to reduce cholesterol My cholesterol levels had been creeping up). Now that I reflect on this, I realise that my skin started to deteriorate at about the time my fat intake was curtailed with the worst problem being that my sun damaged areas started to develop thick areas of flakey skin and even ulcertaed raw spots on the back of my hands and on my forehead that stung when exposed to salt water.  I had a few particularly nasty ulcerations on my hands which persisted despite treatments by the skins specialist.

Less than two years ago I switched away from the low fat diet and our family has steadily been working back to a healthy natural foods diet that includes healthy fats, including raw milk. I have really worked on getting fat soluble vitamins and minerals like silica into my daily diet.  I also began rubbing flax oil onto the most seriously damaged parts of my skin - forehead, ears and back of the hands. To my astonishment my skin began to heal.

Right now my skin is the best it has been in at least ten years with the worst sun damage completely clear.  The last skin kerastosis has dopped off my left ear as of about a week ago.  There is no evidence at all of the ulcerated areas on my hands and forehead.  They have completely disappeared.

I put this down to providing the body with a rich supply of Essential Fatty Acids, including cholesterol all of the Fat Soluble Vitamins and Active Elements Tissue salts.  The other thing is to take one's time - like months, if not years for natural therapies to work their magic.

The videos below have been made over a couple of years and show progress made (Look very carefully at the shots of the backs of my hands).  I will produce a new one soon that shows the progress made since then.

An update on using flax oil to reduce solar skin keratoses

Here is the latest update on my efforts to reduce some of the damage that has been done to my skin in my early years of being fried to a crisp in the sun. I have had to resort in recent years to having patches of raw scale burned off by the skin specialist. This has not been ideal because the end result has been scarring of the skin in places. It has been quite a worry at times wondering where this is all going.

Earlier this year I began using flax oil as the base lubricant of my massage oil which I use daily when working with clients. To my delight, I noticed that the skin on the back of my hands was getting better - not worse as one would expect.

I am delighted with the results. I was due to go to the skin specialist earlier this year. There is now absolutely no need at all.

Have a look at the video and compare with the earlier one. I know it is hard to see what I am talking about in the video - but isn't that great news!
